Important Warranty Information
- Star Products are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery.
- This warranty applies only when the product is properly installed, used, and maintained.
- This warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidental damage.
Warranty Claim Notification
Product defects should be promptly reported in writing to the Star dealer from whom the product was purchased or directly to Star Industries. Including photographs and a written description of the circumstances is preferred. Claims not made within 30 days of defect discovery will be void.
Warranty Determination
If a claim is deemed valid and falls within the warranty period, Star Industries reserves the right to either repair the defect, replace the product with the same or current model, issue credit for the reasonable cost of repair, or reimburse the calculated value upon return of the product.
Warranty Procedure
Star Industries will determine whether the product must be returned for inspection or if repairs may be authorized at the dealer's location. All repairs made by dealers or third parties require prior written authorization. Reimbursements are based on the current "Star Warranty Labor Rate" and exclude offsite travel expenses. A completed Warranty Claim Form must be submitted within 45 days of repair authorization for reimbursement.
A return authorization number must be obtained before shipping any product for inspection or warranty, and must appear on the shipping label. Transportation charges to Star Industries are the responsibility of the dealer or customer, unless within the first two years and proper evidence of a defect is provided. In such cases, Star will arrange for return shipment within the continental U.S. or Canada at their expense. Defective products returned during this period will be shipped back prepaid. Products shipped outside the U.S. or Canada or returned after two years will be shipped freight collect. Non-warrantable products will be returned freight collect if requested, or will be destroyed.
Limitation of Damages
- Star Industries is not liable for installation costs, duties, taxes, or any incidental or consequential damages.
- Total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
- Products repaired or replaced are only covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
- Warranty is void if the product is misused, altered, operated with known defective parts, or repaired without Star’s approval.

- 2-Year Warranty: Medium Duty Auger Drives
- 1-Year Warranty: Auger Bits and Accessories (excluding auger drives), Crane Forks, Grapples, 4-in-1 Buckets, Angle Broom, Mad Beaver Brush Cutters, Big Mouth Tree Shears, Self-Dumping Hoppers, Replacement Forks, Over-the-Bucket Forks
- 6-Month Warranty: Concrete Mixers

The above warranties are exclusive and replace all other warranties, whether written, oral, or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
